Established in 2023 by the locally famed event-planner and gourmet-cater Teddy Richards who has “been collecting antiques since coming to St. Croix in 1982”, earnestly founded The Seven Flags Museum to highlight the unique art and culture of Europe and the Virgin Islands. Operating from a historical structure dating back to the 18th Century, the theme of antiquity and the seven flags which have flown over the territory by seven nations becomes a remarkable asset to the industry. Presently, the museum is the only local establishment with a focus on exhibiting diverse antiquities while offering the ability to celebrate and teach the many values of rich local and international communities. The events from 1493 onward defines the foundations of the organization, and with the many distinct cultures that have been prominently active in the territory, The Seven Flags Museum continues to be of immeasurable worth in art, education and society.

‘Our Mission’ is to bring the culture, history, of Europe and the Virgin Islands throughout the world while adding value to all associated communities. Steadily committed to service, The Seven Flags Museum collects and preserves classical and contemporary art, explores cultures through distinctive curations and events, while forming collaborations and educational initiatives. With our standing as a culturally distinct museum having unique exhibitions, events, and programmes, the organization strives to engage both local and global audiences.
